Used as an emulsifier in the food industry, in the production of beverages, toffees, ice cream, bread, pastries, malted milk, margarine, and chocolate;
Used in the textile industry as an antistatic agent for acrylic fibers and as a component of softening and lubricating agents;
Used as an emulsifier and stabilizer in the food, pesticide, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, coatings, and plastics industries; and as an anti-fogging agent for PVC, EVA, and PE films.
Used as a stationary phase in gas chromatography, and also as an emulsifier.
