Usage
As a nitrification inhibitor, it is added to nitrogen fertilizer to delay the conversion of ammonium nitrogen to nitrate nitrogen in the soil, reduce nitrogen leaching and denitrification losses, and improve nitrogen fertilizer utilization.
It is a key intermediate in the synthesis of guanidine salts, melamine, cyanuric acid, and other fine chemicals.
As a latent curing agent for epoxy resins, it is used in the preparation of one-component epoxy adhesives and powder coatings; the cured products exhibit excellent temperature resistance and adhesion.
As a paper strengthening agent and dyeing fixative, it improves paper strength and dye adhesion.
