Usage
Preparation of ion exchange resins: Chloromethyl active sites are introduced through polymerization, followed by amination/quaternization modification to obtain strongly acidic and strongly basic ion exchange resins.
Synthesis of chelating resins: Heavy metal ion chelating resins are prepared by copolymerization with nitrogen-containing/oxygen-containing ligand monomers.
These are used to prepare cross-linked coating resins, improving coating adhesion, corrosion resistance, and hardness.
Preparation of organosilicon coupling agents: Coupling agents with both reactivity and compatibility are synthesized by reacting with silicon-containing monomers for interfacial modification of composite materials.
