Usage
1. Silane coupling agents: Used for the surface treatment of glass fibers and inorganic fillers to enhance their adhesion to polymer matrices such as polyethylene (PE) and ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymers; also serve as key additives in cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) cable compounds.
2. Cross-linking agents: Used in silane-cross-linked polyethylene (PE) pipes and wire/cable insulation layers to improve the material's aging resistance and mechanical strength.
3. Coatings/Adhesives: Function as primer additives to enhance the adhesion of coatings to glass and metal surfaces, while also improving weather resistance.
4. Organic synthesis: Vinyl-functional silane monomers used in the synthesis of silicone resins and sealants.
5. Other applications: Used for the modification of inorganic powders and as an additive in printing inks.
