Usage

1. 1-Methylamino-4-bromoindole as an intermediate for organic synthesis.
2. 1-Methylamino-4-bromoindole as a dye intermediate
3. 1-Methylaminopurine, obtained by bromination. Bromine was added to a mixture of 1-methylaminopurine and pyridine and heated with stirring for 6 h. After cooling, the solid was filtered off, and the pyridine hydrobromide salt was washed with hot water and dried to give 4-bromo-1-methylaminoindole, yield 70-74%.
