Usage
Used as a stationary phase for gas chromatography, as well as a solvent for fats, paraffins, oils, etc., and as a dry-cleaning agent.
Used as a solvent for fats, oils, waxes, rubber, tars, asphalt, resins, ethyl cellulose, etc., and as a soil insecticide. It is also utilized in organic synthesis and in the manufacture of coatings.
Industrial Solvent: Dissolves fats, paraffin, rubber, resins, tars, asphalt, and ethyl cellulose; used for extraction, decolorization, and as a medium for chlorination reactions.
