Usage
As a spinning/film-forming solvent for polyacrylonitrile (PAN), polyurethane (PU), aramid, and polyimide (PI), it is used in wet/dry spinning to prepare acrylic fibers, spandex, and heat-resistant fibers.
In the pesticide field, it is used in the synthesis of insecticides and herbicides and as an adjuvant to improve the dispersibility of active ingredients.
In the lithium battery field, it is used as an electrolyte additive to regulate the solvation structure of zinc-ion batteries/lithium-oxygen batteries and improve cycle stability.
It is used as a medium in organic synthesis to promote polymerization, halogenation, cyclization, and other reactions; it can also be used as a catalyst, paint remover, and metal cleaner.
