Usage

Tin plating for PCBs and electronic components: Used as the main salt in electroplating for pure tin or tin alloy plating of printed circuit boards (PCBs), connectors, and lead frames.

Semiconductor packaging: Used for tin-based plating in wafer-level packaging and bumping processes to meet the high reliability requirements of microelectronic interconnects.

Catalysis and synthesis: Used as a tin source catalyst in epoxy resin curing, polyester fiber synthesis, and as an intermediate in the preparation of organotin compounds.

Material modification: Used as a tin-based precursor in functional materials such as conductive thin films and organic solar cells; also used as a heat stabilizer for plastics and abrasion resistant agents for coatings.
