Usage
1. Circulating cooling water: Used as a scale and corrosion inhibitor under conditions of high hardness, high alkalinity, and high operating temperatures; it inhibits the formation of calcium carbonate and calcium sulfate scale.
2. Oilfield water injection: Used for scale prevention in oilfield reinjection water systems, as well as for corrosion inhibition in metal pipelines.
3. Boiler water treatment: Used for scale inhibition in low-pressure boilers and heat exchange equipment.
4. Detergents/metal cleaning: Used as a chelating agent for heavy metals; employed to remove oxides from metal surfaces.
