Usage
Serves as an eco-friendly plasticizer for PVC. It acts as a substitute for phthalates, offering low toxicity, environmental friendliness, excellent low-temperature resistance, and resistance to migration.
Water-based Adhesives and Hot-melt Adhesives: Polyurethane (PU) adhesives, pressure-sensitive adhesives, and sealants—toughens and plasticizes the matrix, enhances initial tack and flexibility, and improves low-temperature crack resistance.
Film-forming Aids for Coatings and Inks: Wood finishes, water-based paints, and plastic inks—improves film leveling, adhesion, flexural resistance, and yellowing resistance.
Resin Modification: Alkyd resins, epoxy resins, and acrylic resins—plasticizes and toughens the matrix, and lowers the glass transition temperature.
